Ackerman & Co. Sells Downtown Decatur Retail for $7.7MM

Atlanta, January 13, 2013 – Ackerman & Co. has sold One West Court Square II, one of its prime retail buildings in Downtown Decatur, for $7.7MM ($589 per square foot). The 13,000-square-foot retail center is fully occupied by credit-rated tenants SunTrust, Chipotle, Cook’s Warehouse and Sherlock’s Wine Merchants.

Essex Point Properties, a Boston private investment firm, purchased the property. Ackerman & Co’s Shea Meddin and Jason Powell brokered the sale on behalf of the company.
