Ackerman & Co. is intimately hands-on with our managed properties, getting to know tenants, discovering the building’s culture and day-to-day happenings, and keeping an eye on the vital inner worlds between the building’s four walls. In many of our properties, we even keep an office on-site—to keep ourselves both visible and available.

Via Tenant Relations, we get involved with tenants (and owners) through:

• Tenant improvements—coordination and management of all tenant build-out through connected space planning, design and construction coordination services.
• Building operations—regular inspection of properties with a focus on preventative maintenance.
• Expense management—careful analysis of existing contracts and re-bid for quality and cost effectiveness when necessary.
• Lease administration—review of all current leases at the beginning of our partnership.
