Ackerman & Co. Hires Jeff Bryant to Direct Its Operations in Texas

Bryant, who brings nearly 20 years of construction and development experience,
joins the firm as senior vice president and principal

ATLANTA, June 18, 2017 – As part of its plan to expand its presence in Texas, Ackerman & Co. has hired commercial real estate veteran Jeff Bryant as senior vice president and principal in its San Antonio office. Bryant will direct Ackerman & Co.’s operations in Texas, overseeing the redevelopment, leasing and disposition of the company’s properties and working with the firm’s investment team to source new development and acquisition opportunities in San Antonio, Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Properties that Bryant will oversee for Ackerman include the four-building, 423,411-square-foot CHRISTUS medical office portfolio the firm acquired in San Antonio with Artemis Real Estate Partners and MLL Capital in 2017. Ackerman and its partners are currently implementing major capital improvements in the portfolio.

Bryant brings extensive project expertise in both the private and public sector, most recently as vice president of estimating and preconstruction for Joeris General Contractors in San Antonio.

In addition to his experience at Joeris, where he led a team of 20 construction estimators, Bryant has 18 years of experience working in operations and estimating for construction managers in the Texas market.
