Ackerman & Co. Represents Owner in Sale of 14,402 SF Retail Property at 581 Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta

Property will become first Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria location in Georgia

Atlanta, February 9, 2018 – Ackerman & Co. announced today that it partnered with KW Commercial to represent owners Ron Cade and US INTL LLC in the sale of 581 Metropolitan Parkway SW, a 14,403-square-foot retail property in Atlanta. Buyer Dlindly Inc. plans to open the first Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria in Georgia at the property.

Jarvis Broughton of KW Commercial and Troy Morris of Ackerman & Co. represented the owner in the transaction. Arnee Harrison of Apollo Associates Realty represented the buyer. The restaurant is expected to open in fall 2018.

“This property offers a great retail location near Atlanta’s historically black colleges and universities, including Spelman and Morehouse. It also provides access to downtown Atlanta and its attractions,” said Troy Morris. All of the parties involved in the transaction – the brokers as well as ownership – are graduates of historically black colleges and universities.

Slim & Husky’s is based in Nashville, where three locations are currently in operation. The restaurant offers specialty pizzas and locally brewed craft beers.
