With two decades of retail real estate experience, Marisa Roy is a key member of Ackerman Retail’s Landlord Representation team, specializing in leasing both third-party properties and Ackerman-owned assets, including mixed-use developments, power centers, and specialty retail destinations.
Marisa brings deep market expertise, strong industry relationships and a proven ability to execute successful leasing strategies on behalf of landlords. Her background also includes advising tenants on site selection and brand expansion, giving her a well-rounded perspective.
She currently leads leasing efforts for several high-profile Ackerman-owned developments, including Lee + White, a 442,000 SF adaptive reuse project recognized as one of Atlanta’s premier mixed-use destinations; 1200 White Street, a 210,000 SF adaptive reuse mixed-use development offering large and small-format retail spaces; and the retail portion of theSugar Hill mixed-use project, a joint venture with Novare Group offering spaces for restaurants, fast-casual eateries, boutiques and shops in two retail buildings adjacent to the city of Sugar Hill GA’s entertainment district.
Prior to joining Ackerman, Marisa spent nearly seven years at CBRE as Senior Vice President in the Atlanta Retail Services Group, marketing and leasing retail centers across metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia on behalf of third-party clients. She was also a Senior Leasing representative with Simon Property Group and held senior leasing positions at Phillips Edison & Co., DDR (now Site Centers) and Colliers, gaining experience leasing a full range of retail property types.
