Vice President, Retail Investments
As Vice President of Retail Investments, Taylor originates and executes retail investment opportunities across the Southeast U.S., with a focus on value-add strategies and asset-level performance. He works across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and acquisition through execution of business plans and disposition.
He leads financial analysis and due diligence for the firm’s acquisition investments, including underwriting, market analysis and transaction structuring. Throughout the acquisition process, he coordinates with brokers, lenders and equity partners. Taylor also supports leasing strategy and tenant mix optimization to enhance asset performance and drive rent growth.
Prior to joining Ackerman, Taylor held acquisitions and development roles across retail and industrial platforms. Most recently, he served as Director of Capital Acquisitions at Brownsboro Hill Capital Partners, where he led retail acquisitions and asset management initiatives.
His was also an Acquisitions Associate at Ziff Real Estate Partners, where he closed over $100 million in transactions. In total, he has participated in over $250 million in transactions across retail, self-storage and industrial assets.
Earlier in his career, Taylor held roles at Southeastern Freight Lines and Bridgestone Retail Operations, focusing on real estate development and transaction execution.
